im clear on both but i dont see the reason why you cant have the same colors, im not up on black as a color but if you can pull it off, more power to ya!
Always use the same colors. I mean to have red fingernails nails with green toes isnt exactly sexy. So yeah, use the same colors. But if you dont want to polish your toes with a color at least use a clear polish so your toes will have some shine.
french manicure looks great ethier way but the different colors depends on what ur wearing like if ur wearing pink and blue(pink top blue pants ... or skirt or whatever) then u'd have blue on ur fingernails and pink on ur toenails otherwise stick with the same color unless it matches with what ur wearing
It dosen't rally matter. Unless your like, wearing an all red outfit, you shouldn't put red on the fingers and say...purple on the toes...thats just not right...
i think women with the same color on both looks better
i'm a guy and have no expertise in the matter but if they don't match...it looks kinda cheap...or childish. Now ask me about beer and i'll have a well thought out opinion.
I would paint them the same color unless you cannot decide on which color to use.
I MEAN ITS GONNA LOOK TACKY IF YOU HAVE A COLOR ON YOUR TOES THAT CLASHES WITH A COLOR ON YOUR NAILS. SOME COLORS YOU COULD PROBABLY PULL OFF, BUT IF YOUR GONNA TAKE THE TIME TO EVEN PAINT UR NAILS, WHY NOT SEE TO IT THAT YOUR NAILS AND TOE NAILS MATCH? DURING THE SUMMER TIME, I USUALLY HAVE AN AMERICAN MANICURE, THE SAME IDEA AS FRENCH, JUST WITH PINK INSTEAD OF THAT BEIGEY BASE COAT. THEN I CAN JUST PAINT MY TOE NAILS TO MATCH MY OUTFITS OR EVEN JUST GET UR TOENAILS DONE IN A MANICURE TOO SO U DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. OR GET UR TOE NAILS DONE AND KEEP A FRESH COAT OF CLEAR POLISH ON YOUR FINGER NAILS. ITS BASICALLY FOOL PROOF, JUST DONT PAINT UR NAILS ONE COLOR AND TOE NAILS ANOTHER. XOXO

French color, I don't know about purple unless you have a lot of purple outfits..french manicure matches with everything you wear...i use to do nails at one time....
Some times I paint them the same color or I paint my toes in a darker hue and my fingernails in a lighter hue of the same color family I don't know if there is a ';right'; or ';wrong'; way.

doesn't matter at all, but they can match. i think that for everyday life a french manicure on both toes and nails is a little much (unless its for a special occasion).
i like to get a natural and simple color on my fingernails so that its easier to touch up when it chips and its less noticeable when it chips. you could even get a french manicure!
for your toes, have fun!! go with any color, purple, pink, hot pink, what ever suits you!
you could do though, like pink on both or a natural (shimmery, beige, etc), on both. i just wouldn't recommend an ';out there'; color on both!!

Now days it doesn't matter, but I prefer the same color and maybe a bit of nail decor :) have a ball with it, its your own style that matters , and how happy you are with it. Be yourself and maybe you'll set a trend as well!
