When i was 8 i picked my toenails down really small..now when i try and grow then the edges REALLY hurt..?

and they bleed alot

Don't 'pick' at your nails. Speak with the pharmacist at any drugstore. You can 'bubble' a little hydrogen peroxide on the toes next time, then rinse with water.
