Can your toenails be itchy?

I was just wondering, you have felt itchiness on your arms and legs but can you feel it on your toenails? Can your toenails be itchy?
There are no nerve endings in the nails. Think of this: did you ever think that your hair could itch? They're made of the same material, keratinized epithelial cells. Can your toenails be itchy?
Yes they can feel itchy! Follow this link you may have a fungal problem. Be careful the fungus in some cases can spread to your fingernails. I can't beleive the participants don't research before the toss thier vews out there. It is irrisponsible.

Good luck I hope you feel better soon.
actually toenails doesnt have any connection to the nervous system, therefore, you cant feel any itchiness or pain on the toenail. Sometimes toenails can grow too wide and it may hurt your toes, making them sore. But then again, its not pain on the toenails, its pain in the toes
No. If you touch your finger nail or your toe nail, you realize that what you're feeling is the pressure of the nail against the skin underneath. There are no nerves in your nails.
I have, it turned out to be a fungal infection under the nail. Watch for any yellow discoloration
No, its dead skin
idk but how the hell could you itch them
